Some photos from December 2009 Posted on December 31, 2009August 22, 2023 by scott Very tired of snow. Boring white stuff. And what, exactly, have you done? Another in a continuing occasional series of dilapidated prams found in the alley near my flat where, apparently, all the prams in Scotland go to die. At the insistence of the girlfriend. Not entirely sure how I managed to slice open my knuckle while hoovering, but a jury rigged solution was close at hand. I’d rather an actual bandage was close at hand rather than a paper towel and an elastic band, but you can’t have everything. There’s something ominous about this combination of fading light, fog and building. I think. I’d posted a picture of Glasgow’s Mitchell Library back in July, but it wasn’t any good at all, on reflection. Not that this is brilliant, but it’s certainly better composed and more interestingly lit. Guess it’s chrimbo time around the Buchanan Galleries. “A brazier is a container for fire.” – thanks, Wikipedia! Leftover from last year’s snowfall. Clearing out my Aperture “Dumping Ground” folder.
